Pitch and formant on separate controls — move one without dragging the other along.
The shifting is PSOLA, which keeps the voice sounding like a voice instead of a phase vocoder's version of one. Formant is genuinely independent, so you can drop a vocal an octave and keep the throat size, or leave the pitch alone and change the size of the singer.
Three modes: transpose by interval, quantize to a scale, or lock to a single note for the robot sound.
